We're well into the new year at the YMCA of Central New York! Why do they say, “New Year, New You?” as if the current “you” isn’t enough? Your current “you” is extraordinary—why change it? That's why we invite you to come as you are to your local branch.
Maybe it’s time we rethink our resolutions - did you make any this year? Are you finding it hard to stick with them? Why not find a new passion by trying a new art class? Find a new flow with a class that helps you focus on your mind and body. Find new friends, no matter the stage of life you’re in. Find a new purpose in finding a cause that allows you to help others.
We were honored and grateful to serve with volunteers from around the area making sandwiches and distributing warm clothes on a cold day this past Saturday with We Rise Above the Streets to support our neighbors in need as part of our Days of Service initiative. Special thanks to board volunteer Matt Eaton of JP Morgan Chase for making this connection!
Achieve your health and fitness goals, with motivational support from friends through our Myzone social network, and utilize our unique Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) system to earn the credit you deserve. You can purchase your MyZone MZ-3 belt at our YMCA of Central New York locations.
Smart Start is a free program for all new and current members that provides you with an easy-to-follow wellness plan and the support needed to achieve your goals. Smart Start includes up to three one-on-one sessions with our Health & Wellness staff who will help you choose the best path for your wellness journey.
