Youth Arts Camps
The YMCA of Central New York offers a wide range of summer Arts Camps programs for youth of all ages. Whether your child is interested in ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, digital media, or a little bit of everything, we have full-day and half-day camp programs that will keep kids exploring.

Music Lessons
The Arts Branch of the YMCA offers music instruction at several YMCA of Central New York branches: Downtown Y, Hal Welsh East Area Family Y, Manlius Y, North Area Family Y, and Northwest Family Y locations. Our professional instructors work with a wide range of experience levels--whether you are brand new to music, or have been taking lessons for years, we have someone ready to help you explore your talents.
After School Arts Program
Since 1999, the Arts and Education Branch of the YMCA has provided high-quality arts education and academic support to students in Syracuse City School District elementary schools, and now also in North Syracuse Central School District.
Y-Arts Scholars
Founded in 2011 with the generous support of an individual donor, the Y-Arts Scholars Program provides scholarships for talented Syracuse youth with demonstrated financial need. Each year, Y-Arts Scholars provides nearly 300 scholarships for such programs as visual arts workshops, music lessons, Arts Camp, and the Young Authors Academy--all at no charge to the students' families.
Dance
Ranging from exploration to advanced, members of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join a new dance class to improve rhythm, balance, and coordination skills – and just for FUN! Classes available for youth and adult members.
