Poets Jeanne Marie Beaumont and Christopher Brunt

Jeanne Marie Beaumont is the author of five collections of poetry: Lessons with Scissors (Tiger Bark Press, 2024), Letters from Limbo (CavanKerry, 2016), Burning of the Three Fires (BOA Editions, 2010), Curious Conduct (BOA Editions, 2004), and Placebo Effects (Norton, 1997), a winner of the National Poetry Series. With Claudia Carlson, she co-edited The Poets’ Grimm: 20th Century Poems from Grimm Fairy Tales (Story Line, 2003). Her verse play, Asylum Song, had its world premiere in 2019 at HERE Arts in New York City. She has taught at the Frost Place, Rutgers University, the Stonecoast MFA Program of the University of Southern Maine, and at the 92nd Street Y.

Christopher Brunt’s debut book of poems, War At Home, was published by Saturnalia Books in 2024. His poetry, fiction, and essays have been featured in Ploughshares, The Nation, Oxford American, the Cincinnati Review, and other magazines. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he has an MFA from Syracuse University and a PhD in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. He currently teaches literature and creative writing at Syracuse University, and is the creator and host of PODRE, a podcast on fatherhood, recovery, and the creative life.
