Poets Mohammed Zenia & Heather Bartlett

Mohammed Zenia Siddiq Yusef Ibrahim's poems have appeared in E-flux magazine, the Poetry Project newsletter, Apogee, Columbia Journal and Mizna. They are the author of the books BLK WTTGNSN, Tel Aviv, James Baldwins Lungs in the 80s, and Black Bedouin (co-written with Tenaya Nasser). Of Sudanese descent, they were born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and live in Brooklyn.

Heather Bartlett is a poet, writer, and professor. Her debut poetry collection, Another Word for Hunger, was published by Sundress Publications in 2023. Her poetry and prose can be found in print and online in journals such as Barrow Street, Lambda Literary, the Los Angeles Review, Ninth Letter, RHINO Poetry, and others. She holds an MFA in poetry from Hunter College and is an assistant professor of English at SUNY Cortland. She is the founding editor of the online literary magazine Hoxie Gorge Review.
