In this class we will take the skills learned in Painting 101 and extend learning through color theory, elements of art, and principles of design. Participant will have to have taken Painting 101 to be able to take Painting 201.

Take your painting to the next level with Painting 301!
This class will take the skills learned in 101 and 201 and extend them to create acrylic paintings. Participants will have to have taken Painting 101 and Painting 201 to be able to participate take Painting 301.

Jewelry Making
Learn skills such as wire wrapping and beading to create your own jewelry designs! Your child will learn skills to create rings, necklaces, and earrings.

Digital Art
Learn digital art creation through GIMP!
Your child will learn how to edit images through the Gnu Image Manipulation Program. Creations such as Tiny Worlds, cutting and layering backgrounds, and other introductory skills will be learned. Your child will also be exposed to sites such as AI drawing, font creation, and Google drawing.

Models, Matchbox Cars, and Miniatures
Make your own models, accessories and clothes, to use with your action figures, roll playing games, fashion dolls, and model trains. This class will teach the student how to creatively construct scaled down models, as they make their dreams into reality. Do you need an environment for your Roll Playing Game Scenario, or a new set of clothes for your Barbie Doll, or maybe a building for your Model Train Set? Students will be shown how to draw up plans, and use their plans to make wise economic decisions. The students will have fun, as they learn such STEM skills as engineering, scaling, economy and design. This class will go at the student's pace, allowing them time for experimentation: trial and error.

Star Wars
Long, long ago… In a galaxy far, far away… Welcome Mandalorians and Jedis to the wonderful world of Light Sabers, Space Battles, and, of course, the “Child” (Baby Yoda). Learn the Story of the Skywalker Saga, along with the legends and the new Disney saga. Fight foam lightsaber battles, as you learn the way of the Jedi. Learn to draw Star Wars characters, and explore the music and other merchandise that have helped build the Star Wars brand. Learn about the stories that inspired George Lucas, and how Marcia Lucas, Frank Oz, and John Williams have all contributed to his success.

Have you ever wondered how cartoons are made? Would you like to learn how to draw cartoons? In this class, students will get to know the basics of how cartoons are created and will learn how to draw numerous original and modern-day cartoons.

Jurassic Adventure
Do you like dinosaurs? Then this class is for you. Students will learn the names of the 20 most popular dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures and explore popular dinosaur theories on where they came from and where they went. Students will learn to draw dinosaurs, play games involving dinosaurs to experience the dino-lifestyle, and even eat like dinosaurs by dining on popcorn, breaded chicken and lettuce.

Mystery, Spies, & CSIs
Have you ever wanted to be a detective? In this class, you’ll learn the skills modern day crime fighters use to catch criminals. Become more observant, investigate a crime scene and take clues back to the lab. Explore the history or criminal investigations and learn how to build a solid case. Draw suspects, based on descriptions by eye-witnesses. Students will look to plastic models of human organs and help our Medical Examiner determine the cause of death. We’ll go out in the field, visit out Spy Training Course and learn to decipher codes just like a real agent.

Retro Video Games
Have you ever been interested in the video games that your parents played when they were your age? In this class, we are going old school! We will have stations set up to play games on the Atari, NES, SNES, Sega, and N64. Each day, you will rotate to a different station and experience a new gaming system.

Theater For Kids
Discover the fun of being an actor! Experience many elements of theatre, including learning lines and creating a character. You will participate in theatre games, improve your confidence in public speaking, and have fun in a comfortable and non-competitive environment. On Friday, your troupe will perform a play in front of an audience. This class is open to all levels of experience.

Scrapbooking
Students can capture their favorite memories in a customized scrapbook. You will learn how to organize and display photos in an artistic manner. Page by page, you’ll work to create a personalized book to take home. Students should bring approximately 20 photos to class.

Card Sharks
Learn how to play classic card games including Solitaire, Skipbo, Hearts, and more. We will also learn how to shuffle a deck of cards. By the end of the week, you’ll be so good you’ll be able to teach your family and friends. Invite your family to play a game with us on Family Fun Friday.

Mind Craft Creative Mode (level 1)
Do you like to use Minecraft to create complex works of art? Want to build grand castles that reach out to the sky, but don’t want to mine all of the stone to build it? Do you want to see what you can build with endless blocks of every kind? If so, then Minecraft Creative Mode is for you! This course, taught by an experienced Minecrafter and server owner, gives students the opportunity to hone their ability to build complex, artistic creations in Minecraft, free of the limitations that are involved in the traditional survival mode. Students will share building techniques with one another, and they will also compete in a range of contests and team activities. The course will focus on topics specific to Creative Mode, such as pixel art and large-scale builds.

Mind Craft Survivor Mode (level 2)
Want to learn new ways to avoid creeper attacks? Want to learn more about building castles around villages to defend against zombie raids? Want to take your Minecraft game to the next level? If the answer is “yes”, then this class is for you! This course, taught by an experienced Minecrafter and server owner, will offer students the opportunity to play Minecraft together and to learn from one another’s methods and builds. The course will focus on aspects specific to Survival Mode such as effective mining strategies, preventing monster attacks, herding and farming, and crafting and enchanting. Students will be encouraged to share their techniques with other students to improve each other’s gameplay and builds. In addition, students will compete in various contests and team activities.

Do you enjoy sports? Then Ultimate Sports is for you! Join others and play new games every day. Have fun while being active. Play Capture the Flag, Freeball, Doctor Dodgeball, and many other games for ultimate athletes! Students should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring a labeled water bottle. This is an outdoor class.

Interior Design 101
In this class, students will apply art and mathematic principles to design a bedroom, dorm room, apartments, or other small space. Like professional designers, students will bring a project from conception to reality by planning, researching, coordinating, and executing creative ideas. This class is for ages 12 and up.

Continue to grow your skills as an Interior Designer in Interior Design 201. In this class you will build the skills learned in Interior Design 101 to continue design like the professionals. Participants will need to have taken Interior Design 101 to take 201. This class is for ages 12 and up.

Amazing Race
Do you like a good challenge? What about travelling? Grab your passport and let’s go! Students in this class will work together in teams to tackle challenges that will keep them advancing in the race. With different countries and themes every day, teams will work to get to the final destination. This will be an active class, and students should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and bring a labeled water bottle every day.

Optical Illusions
In this class, students will learn about the mathematics behind M.C. Escher’s works of art and then create different optical illusions through the application of geometry. Students will create a tessellation art project and a stained-glass window design using points, lines, angles, triangles, circles, etc. This class is for students ages 12 and up.

This class is anything but original dodgeball. Learn and explore different variations of the game while still keeping the classic dodgeball feel. Students should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and bring a labeled water bottle.

It’s not regular kickball, this is Krazy Kickball! Play Two Base Kickball, Bulls-Eye Ball and more. Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a week of fun! This is an outdoor class, and students should wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and bring a labeled water bottle.
