Yes, your YMCA of Central New York membership provides access to all of our locations and your EGYM wrist band will allow you to use the equipment in both branches.
It identifies bio age, muscle imbalances, and max strength (all EGYM strength tests), allows you to log workouts and activities, and track points achieved. All exercises generate a certain number of points that can be used to motivate users or compete in challenges.
Please see a Wellness Coach for assistance regarding replacement. Replacement bands are $5.
Each program will automatically prompt users to complete a new strength test every 6 sessions/workout (per machine). Users have the option to decline, however, strength tests help to determine starting weight in the next phase of your training program.
Each training program (suggested by a Wellness Coach during your orientation) will help you move forward into the next training method after each strength test.
Always start at Machine #1. This is to prevent disrupting other members from progressing through the circuit. To complete multiple sets of a particular exercise, please complete the circuit and come back around to complete another set.
The orange circle moving around the timer indicates the exercise time (80 seconds). The blue circle indicates the rest time (30 seconds), at which point the user should be moving to the next machine. It is highly recommended that members hit the start button during the rest period to get the full amount of exercise time.
